One health identity for every donor
Link a donor’s Ayushman Bharat Health Account at registration so their demographics, deferral history and consent travel with them across every centre in your network.
Aadhaar / mobile verify
QR at the desk
Gateway callback wired
Stripped before storage
What ABHA linkage gives you
Identity resolved once, then reused everywhere it matters.
Demographics fetched, not typed
Name, age, sex and address pulled from the health account instead of re-keyed at a busy counter.
Consent recorded and revocable
Access is logged against the donor’s consent, and the donor can withdraw it.
Deferral history follows the donor
A prior deferral at another centre in your network surfaces before the bag is opened.
Duplicates collapse
The same person registering at two centres resolves to one record rather than two donor histories.
Faster registration
Less time at the desk per donor, which matters most when a camp queue is forty people long.
Aligned to ABDM
Built against the ABDM specifications for health identity and consent.
Identity at the registration desk
Enroll or verify ABHA
Aadhaar OTP or mobile OTP against the ABDM gateway. The workflow is a dedicated donor screen, not a field bolted onto the old form.
Scan & Share when they have a QR
Pending profiles arrive on the HIP callback, validated for hipId and REQUEST-ID, then linked to a donor or blood request.
Demographics without retyping
Fit/unfit registration can start from a verified ABHA profile. Aadhaar numbers are sanitised out before anything is stored.
One identity across your centres
The same donor at two centres on your network resolves to one record, so donation interval and prior deferrals are checked against what actually happened.
What the sequence looks like
- Donor at the desk
- ABHA address, number or Aadhaar
- OTP to the donor's phone
- ABDM returns the verified profile
- Demographics fill the form
A verified identity in the time it takes to type a name
Demographics arrive from a verified health account instead of being re-keyed from a card, and the donor resolves to one identity across every centre on your network.
- Enroll or verify via Aadhaar OTP or mobile OTP against the ABDM gateway
- Scan & Share QR profiles arrive on the HIP callback and link to a donor or request
- Aadhaar numbers are stripped before storage — the health ID stays, the Aadhaar does not
- Registered on ABDM’s Health Facility Registry as a digital health facility, ID IN0710008026
Verified identity beats a name and a phone number
ABHA linkage saves time at the desk — demographics from a verified profile instead of re-keyed from a card, which matters most when a camp queue is forty people long. The deeper win is identity itself. Names are entered inconsistently, phone numbers change and get shared within families, and a busy counter does not investigate. A verified ABHA gives you one donor resolved to one identity across every centre on your network, so donation interval and prior deferrals are checked against what actually happened.
The same mechanism collapses duplicates. The same person registering at two centres under slightly different spellings produces two donation histories, each of which can look compliant on its own. Aggregate them and the interval may not be. A network running only on name matching has no clean way to see that.
RAKT Innovation Private Limited is registered on ABDM’s Health Facility Registry as a digital health facility, ID IN0710008026. At the desk you can create or verify an ABHA, confirm with the donor’s OTP, claim Scan & Share profiles, and fill the registration form from the verified health account.
Questions about abdm & abha integration
What is ABHA and does a blood bank need it?
ABHA, the Ayushman Bharat Health Account, is the individual health identity under the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission. Purchase committees and state programmes increasingly expect blood centres to support it. Operationally it resolves a donor to one identity across your centres, fetches demographics instead of typing them, and keeps donation history reliable inside your network.
Does linking ABHA speed up donor registration?
Yes. Name, age, sex and address come from the health account rather than being re-keyed at the counter. Downstream, a donor recognised as the same person at every centre in your network carries their donation history with them, so eligibility is checked against what actually happened.
What happens to donor consent and privacy?
Creating an ABHA goes through ABDM’s enrolment consent flow. Verifying an existing one needs an OTP the donor enters, so nothing is linked without them acting. RAKT stores the ABHA identifier and the demographics returned by the verified profile against your centre’s record, with access logged like any other field.
Is RAKT registered under ABDM?
Yes. RAKT Innovation Private Limited is registered on ABDM’s Health Facility Registry as a digital health facility, ID IN0710008026. ABHA create, verify and profile flows at the registration desk run against ABDM’s live APIs.
