The blood centres that run on RAKT

200+ blood centres across India use RAKT for the whole path of a unit, from donor registration to issue. 15 of them are named below, with permission — charitable blood centres, IMA blood centres and hospital transfusion services.

Charitable blood centres

Standalone blood centres, most of them running a single site with a small team, where the same person often does registration in the morning and the eRaktKosh submission at the end of the month.

What they have in common

Three problems, in every centre we have deployed to

Different sizes, same week before an inspection.

01

The register is reconstructed, not recorded

Work happens on paper or in a parallel spreadsheet, and the statutory register is assembled from it afterwards. RAKT makes the register the by-product of the work.

02

eRaktKosh is a monthly scramble

Submission is a separate data-entry job against a separate system. RAKT builds the submission from records that already exist.

03

Nobody can answer "where did this unit go"

Tracing a unit from donor to recipient means opening four registers. RAKT holds the chain as one record.

FAQ

Questions about our customers

Can I speak to an existing RAKT customer?

Yes. We will introduce you to a centre of a similar size and type to yours, and we will not sit in on the call. Ask us on WhatsApp or at support@rakt.in.

Are these all of your customers?

No. 200+ blood centres run on RAKT; the 15 named here are the ones who have agreed to be listed publicly. Most blood centres would rather not advertise which systems hold their donor records, which is a reasonable position.

Do you work with hospitals as well as standalone blood centres?

Both. A hospital transfusion service and a charitable blood centre run the same regulated process, and the differences — who requests a unit, how urgent the crossmatch queue is, whether billing goes to a patient or a scheme — are handled as configuration rather than as separate products.

How long does it take to move from our current system?

It depends almost entirely on the state of your existing records rather than on the software. We will look at what you have and tell you honestly what importing it involves before you commit to anything.
